For the purpose of making their local philanthropic efforts even greater and more meaningful, and with children the criterion, the Antioch Shrine Foundation of Dayton was created in 2005.
The Antioch Shrine Foundation raises monies for three categories:
• charities (specifically children)
• building preservation
Within the charity and scholarship categories, the Foundation designates their charities of choice, while preservation of the Antioch Shrine building at 107 E. First Street, Dayton, Ohio is another focus. The landmark structure has housed local Shriners for more than 60 years. The Antioch Shrine Foundation of Dayton is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. All contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent permitted by the law. Also, Bequests, planned giving and other benevolent gifts are acceptable. Please contact the Foundation for more information. The Foundation has its own Board of Trustees and is a separate corporation and does not come under the divan (the governing body of the Shrine Center). The Foundation has its own Code of Regulations and is certified by the state of Ohio.
